TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Purchase Terms

1.1. Any individual wishing to offer a gift in the form of purchases from Seroussi stores may acquire a gift card for this purpose.
1.2. Gift cards may be purchased by any natural or legal person, regardless of domicile or registered office.
1.3. Gift cards are available, subject to stock availability, in any physical Seroussi store. The list of stores is available at: https://seroussi.ro/ro/magazine-seroussi.
1.4. Gift cards are issued in fixed denominations of RON 150, RON 250, and RON 500 (VAT included). Higher amounts may be obtained by purchasing multiple cards.
1.5. Each gift card has a fixed value printed on its face and a unique barcode on the reverse, which will be scanned both at the time of purchase and upon redemption.

2. Terms of Use

2.1. The gift card may be used exclusively in the Seroussi physical store from which it was purchased, for the acquisition of any available products, including promotional or discounted items.
2.2. Gift cards are bearer instruments and are not issued in the name of a specific individual; they are freely transferable.
2.3. Each gift card may be used only once, in a single transaction. The total value of the purchase must be equal to or greater than the value of the card. Any difference exceeding the card value must be paid using another payment method accepted in Seroussi stores.
2.4. Multiple gift cards may be combined for a single transaction.
2.5. No change will be given for purchases made using a gift card.
2.6. Gift cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.
2.7. The balance of a gift card cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
2.8. The value of the gift card is non-refundable, either to the original purchaser or to any subsequent holder.
2.9. Gift cards are valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase and may be used for a single transaction only. Upon expiry, the card becomes invalid, and any remaining balance shall be forfeited. The holder bears full responsibility for monitoring the validity period and shall not be entitled to any compensation. The expiry date may be verified in any Seroussi store by scanning the barcode.

3. Returns

3.1. Products purchased using gift card(s) may be returned in accordance with the return policy applicable within the Seroussi retail network.

4. Disputes

4.1. Any disputes arising between the issuer and the purchasers or users of the gift cards shall be settled amicably.
4.2. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Romania.
4.3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Romanian law.

5. Personal Data Protection

Seroussi acts as a data controller and processes personal data in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.

Data subjects whose personal data are processed in connection with the purchase and use of gift cards are entitled to the following rights:

• the right to be informed regarding the processing of their personal data.
• the right to access personal data.
• the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing.
• the right to object to processing, including for direct marketing purposes.
• the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
• the right to seek legal remedies before competent courts or supervisory authorities.

6. Final Provisions

6.1. The gift card is a bearer instrument and may be transferred by simple delivery. Responsibility for its use lies exclusively with the holder.
6.2. Seroussi shall not be liable for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced gift cards and will not replace them. In such cases, the remaining balance shall be deemed lost, and no compensation shall be granted.
6.3. Seroussi reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be published on the official website: www.seroussi.ro.
6.4. By purchasing or using a gift card, customers acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
